Culver Farms Daylilies

Some of the goals we have at Culver Farm are hybridizing daylilies that are hardy, vigorous and healthy plants for our northern climate. We try to pick out of our hybridizing program daylily flowers that have good clear colour. All the daylilies are grown in field conditions without the aid of any artificial benefits to enhance daylily growth. The freeze thaw cycles we receive during most of our winters weed out the weak and unsuitable daylilies for our climate. Daylilies that will flourish under ordinary garden conditions are a major goal for me.

Culver Farms Daylilies are being offered on the Lily Auction through an arrangement with my good friend Dave Mussar.

TEPIN (Culver-B, 2016) TET-35"- MLa - 5" A yellow-gold flower with a ruffled bright clear dark red eye and edge above a green throat. Ext.; Sev., 4-way branching; bud count 25; Reg. 2016, (Flamingo Carousel X Dragon Master). The offspring of two of our hottest coloured introductions this daylily has stood out among its full siblings as something to behold. With its clear bright bold colours along with a great garden performance this plant is yelling to anyone within earshot, look at me, look at me. It is a vigorous grower and bounces back very nicely from dividing. Fertile both ways. Price: $100.00 (SF)

Please Note: Plants will be delivered to Melanie Mason at the Can-Am Classic, the weekend of April 29th & 30^th, 2016, hand carried across the border with a group phyto and shipped out to US addresses in the following few days. Shipping costs will be $20.00 for priority mail within the United States for up to 3 plants to the same address at the same time.
