A large healthy fan of TIGER SWALLOWTAIL (Dan Trimmer 2015). From Trimmer's notes: "Tet. Sdlg. 2-6 (Dragonfly Dawn X Tetra Texas Kaleidoscope) 40” 7 1/2” Re. Ev. 12-14 buds. Stunningly pod fertile, TIGER SWALLOWTAIL, breeds exactly like its yellow based siblings, except the offspring tend to be a bit larger and taller. Due to the modest bud count we’ve discounted this very large patterned lookalike to some of the wonderful butterflies that have come to visit our two new butterfly gardens built for our grandchildren, and have brought delight Jane and I and also to all garden visitors.  TIGER SWALLOWTAIL is a medium yellow with an etched and patterned violet eyezone."
