(Gossard, James) 2019 introduction (tetra Emerald Starburst) x (Tetra Rose F. Kennedy) Seedling number 270-13 Tetraploid 25" Early Midseason Dormant emo fr 7" 3-4 way branching 18-22 buds. Fertile both ways. Rebloomer. Very good rust resistance. USDA Plant Hardiness Zone 3-10. I just can't say enough about Heavenly Emerald Rose- It thrives up north, it thrives down south, it has a HEAVY substance and a TERRIFIC plant habit. It blooms perfectly Every time. It is a favorite of many of my friends who have visited my gardens in both Ohio and Spacecoast Daylilies in Florida, where it was also grown. I see posted on Facebook and have been contacted MANY times about whether I have the tetraploid conversions of either Emerald Starburst or Rose F. Kennedy. They are rare, and oftentimes Exceedingly difficult to use. With Heavenly Emerald Rose, one can bypass that step and use a flower with BOTH genetics, BOTH conversions, with HOT HOT HOT pollen, and at a fraction of the price. Look for MANY introductions out of this cultivar. It is one of the most important daylilies of 2019, in my opinion. And it's pretty cool too!.........$150 SF, $275 DF.
