You are bidding on 3 fans of a Luddy Lambertson seedling that has an unusual story behind it. I purchased Luddy's BIRD TALK from him in 2005 when it was first introduced. The first few years, blooms all looked like BIRD TALK. Then about the 4th year after I'd grown it, THIS showed up!! At first, I couldn't figure out what had happened. It hadn't formed any pods so my only guess was that a small fan of a seedling must have somehow been included in my plant of BIRD TALK. Over the past few years, this seedling has overtaken BIRD TALK fans, meaning it is apparently more vigorous that the plant I purchased. I've searched in vain through all of Luddy's registrations and it doesn't quite resemble any of his introductions. It will be interesting to see if anyone wants a piece of this seedling. The bloom size and height are roughly the same as BIRD TALK. (24"; 6.5") All pictures are taken here in my home garden. This item is for FALL 2015 delivery only. Shipping dates will be Sept. 19 - Oct. 3. If these dates don't work for you, please DO NOT bid! Please note: Payment is due within 10 days after auction close. Save on shipping when multiple items ( up to six per box) are shipped together. Sorry, I cannot take Pay Pal at this time. Please see shipping restrictions below.
