Burr Oak Daylilies specializes in season extending and unusual-form day lilies. We have not yet introduced any of our own cultivars, but will do so soon. In the meantime we have a wide range of day lilies to offer from the extensive array of day lilies we acquired for pollen and pod parentage. We began our hybridizing in 2009 after collecting a stock of 200 cultivars (now 610) from which to work. An important part of our stock comes from Hickory Hill Gardens, the late Clayton Burkey's site, which specialized in unusual forms. We have most of Clayton's many award winners, exceptional cultivars, and classic lilies. At present we are offering these parental lilies of exceptional characteristics at good prices.
Our lilies are guaranteed to be healthy, strong, and to satisfy, or a refund or replacement at my expense will be issued. Lilies are shipped bare root. They are cleaned and treated in accord with shipping practices to California, but we have not yet had a state inspection, so we cannot ship to states that require inspected plants. We plan to have the inspection in preparation for May of 2018, when we will be issuing our first exceptional cultivars from the new Burr Oak collection.
