ABOUT BITTERSWEET FARM: Our ten acres of woods, ravines, and garden beds is located outside of Granville, Ohio. In this part of Ohio (zone 5), we grow in heavy clay soil that we amend with lots of manure, peat, compost, etc. Fortunately, rust does not overwinter here, and I’ve never seen it in the garden. While I start the seeds from my own crosses each year in our small greenhouse, everything else is grown outside -- all of our named cultivars, as well as our seedlings, are field grown, hardy, and beautiful.
Please let me know if you ever have a concern about plants you receive from me. I stand behind everything I sell, and hope that you get as much pleasure from these daylilies as I do.
All photos belong to Bittersweet Farm and were taken in our garden.
