For those who enjoy Oscie Whatley Cultivers; here is one of his that is a must have. A hard to
find example of his hybridizing efforts. Registered in 2002 from 2 of his best (my opinion) plants.
(Butter Cream X Paster James) There is not a bloom out there with everything it has going on in
it.
You can see some carving involved with "wings" coming out of the throat complimented by lovely
curved petals and sepals edged with a pie crust type edge. It's a bloom that you will look at everyday
it's open.
Oscie registered it at a short 17" scape, but after the plant settled in the scape is 22"+ for me.
Bud Count is around 18-20 and like alot of his cultivers they open the day before and usually look
good well past dusk the next day. Under the right temps it looks well even for a second day. She's a Dormant and very hardy.
Don't let this one get away from you!
