Laws of Illusion is the parent of virtually every cutting edge future introduction pattern in my garden, including the much awaited and deeply coveted Cobalt Rings. Not only is the flower stunning, but it has been the quintessential parent for breaking open fancy flowers with complex blue eyed patterns with wide, wide blue pattern edges. The violet eye and its surrounding burgundy band move around the petal edges as a very wide, multi-layered picotee. The violet picotee and wide ruffled edge is surrounded by a third or fourth gold edge. For anyone hybridizing for fancy patterned flowers, Laws of Illusion will blow open the doors.
