I suppose that making the cross of Born To Run and Scarlet Angel was an obvious choice. And, what a star came from that cross - Scarlet Peacock got the very best from both of its famous parents. As the song goes, "Momma may have and Papa may have, but God bless the child that has his own," and Scarlet Peacock has it in spades. The petal color is a deep crimson red with a lighter watermark. The center of the flower is a lettuce green throat. The petals are wide and beautifully ruffled, carrying a precise white to gold edge.
