We mix our own soil, including alfalfa, bone meal, blood meal and WORM CASTINGS. We feed primarily with Miracle Grow with minors and SEAWEED CONCENTRATE. We do not force our plants. We use good old California sunshine, water and nutrients. We rely heavily on organic products for insect and disease control---we have LADYBUGS, GREEN LACEWINGS AND PRAYING MANTIS on patrol for us.

RAGING MANTIS

(Benz) tet 36" M. Dor. (Tooth and Nail X When lightning Strikes)

RAGING MANTIS is the most spectacular shark's teeth UF in commerce-bar none. This 7" narrow cascading flower is done in a smooth waxy shade of bright tomato red and is embellished with the largest pure white sharks teeth seen on any narrow form thus far. I crossed all the narrowest edged varieties to my own TOOTH AND NAIL in hopes of getting a really big narrow flower with teeth. RAGING MANTIS combines STARTLE and FORESTLAKE RAGAMUFFIN with 2 doses of Tet. SPINDAZZLE, and the combination of color and teeth goes way beyond anything I achieved at the f-1 level. Takes red color from parent WHEN LIGHTNING STRIKES, and fringe from TOOTH AND NAIL, but the teeth on this stunner far exceed those of both parents. In fact, the teeth on RAGING MANTIS go way beyond sib ARACHNID or any narrow tooth variety in commerce-period. RAGING MANTIS is not a 4:1 UF, but is close enough that I would never cross it to the rounder forms. Blooming on a strong tall 36" scape, which boasts 3 laterals, a terminal cluster and over 30 buds, Plants are large, with wide arching blue-green foliage and form a truly spectacular garden clump. Fertile both ways; pods require persistence.

Payment is due in 10 days. We dig, dip, clip and ship on the same day and most plants are carefully prepared for shipping within 15 minutes of the time they come out of the soil. Shipping is $12 for the first plant and additional wins will be $3 for each single or double fan and $5 for those with 3 or more fans shipped in the same box (we will do our best to combine as many as we can). Your largest win will be your first plant.These plants are for fall shipping.

Our area has had mandatory water cutbacks and it is essential that you take delivery of these plants this fall. We are willing to ship as early as weather permits.
