We mix our own soil, including alfalfa, bone meal, blood meal and WORM CASTINGS. We feed primarily with Miracle Grow with minors and SEAWEED CONCENTRATE. We do not force our plants. We use good old California sunshine, water and nutrients. We rely heavily on organic products for insect and disease control---we have LADYBUGS, GREEN LACEWINGS AND PRAYING MANTIS on patrol for us.

MAGNIFICENT! That is the word most used by visiting hybridizers when they first set eyes on this big 6" red. Taking wide petals and brilliant red color from SCARLETT and its large vibrant green throat and ultra-flat form from WARRIOR KING, this stunning scarlet red beauty surpasses both parents on all counts. EYE OF THE DRAGON is a full six inches across, and open as flat as a plate before dawn, despite heavy plastic-like substance that defies sun, wind and rain. The large fluorescent green throat is far and away the largest we've seen in any red and holds in full sun. EYE OF THE DRAGON is always open flat and perfect, despite nights in the 40s. Both parents are hardy evergreens; but in this f-2 cross combining genetics from ED MARSHALL on both sides, plants are large, blue-green and hard dormant. Scapes are big and strong with wonderful 4-way branching and a bud-count of 25- 30. EYE OF THE DRAGON is the pinnacle of perfection in our green throated red program and our most used red since it first bloomed. We are now working overtime trying to retain this ultra flat form and color, while adding width and ruffling. First results are exciting. Fertile both ways and proving a wonderful parent

Payment is due in 10 days. We dig, dip, clip and ship on the same day and most plants are carefully prepared for shipping within 15 minutes of the time they come out of the soil. Shipping is $12 for the first plant and additional wins will be $3 for each single or double fan and $5 for those with 3 or more fans shipped in the same box (we will do our best to combine as many as we can). Your largest win will be your first plant.These plants are for fall shipping.

Our area has had mandatory water cutbacks and it is essential that you take delivery of these plants this fall. We are willing to ship as early as weather permits.
