BANANA SMOOTHIE(George-T 07) Have to admit I was skeptical when I saw the registration on this one....10" bloom, 64" scapes, 6 way branching, 40 buds....but Terah George's description is 100% accurate. Can't say enough nice things about this plant.... I've seen SEVEN of these huge blooms open on ONE scape without crowding and without the scapes falling over. Perfect scapes have very wide spaced branching that gently flex in the wind without falling to the ground or cracking off when multiple blooms open at the same time. The same wide spaced branching allow dead heads to hang straight down and fall to the ground making it a self cleaning daylily. Makes enormous fans with big, flawless foliage and the plants are very vigorous, increasing quickly. Hybridizers: it comes from Webster breeding with (ROBB COBB x GALAXY ROSE) x WEBSTER'S PINK WONDER as parents. I haven't been able to set a pod on it, but the pollen is excellent and can be used with a wide variety of colors being a yellow out of pinks and roses. Highly recommended! Absolutely wonderful plant habit for both hybridizers and sales garden. Visitors never miss commenting on this one. Reblooms. An award winner for good reason.
