An incredible parent, Flaming Phoenix, is one of my favorite Benz releases. Rarely offered. A single blooming size fan to be shipped in September. John'spicture and description. FLAMING PHOENIX (Benz) tet 30" M. Dor. [(White Fang x Ruby Corona) X Horns]  Screaming for attention, this burning red with its intense golden yellow horns and teeth is the most flamboyant and spectacular spiked red in commerce. FLAMING PHOENIX is a full sib to FULL IMPACT, and is the latest in a new race of highly advanced spiked reds from HORNS breeding. These fringy horns and spikes have gotten so long and protruding that I can no longer refer to them as teeth; they belong in a category all their own. Destined for stardom, FLAMING PHOENIX is larger and bolder than its sib FULL IMPACT and has a much larger and brighter edge. FLAMING PHOENIX, with its brilliant 1 inch gold spikes and flaming scarlet color, raises the bar in this class. I've seen nothing else even close, barring its cousin BLACK HORNS. When color is factored in, BLACK HORNS is drab by comparison-FLAMING PHOENIX (side-facing) can be seen from every corner of the garden. Tall and beautifully branched, with 3 laterals, a terminal cluster and over 22 buds, FLAMING PHOENIX is truly awesome in clump. Add in strong re-bloom and you have a long and protracted season of bloom. Fertile both ways, and FLAMING PHOENIX is the parent of our most spectacular new teeth seedlings
