A double fan of Maui Princess from my Utah garden. To be shipped in September. John Benz's picture and description. MAUI PRINCESS (Benz) tet 30" M. Dor. BORN TO RUN X [(White Fang x Ruby Corona) x Horns] This 6" bright red beauty with its big green throat and bristling with gold teeth and knobs was destined for introduction the first day it bloomed. Scapes are strong and erect, but only moderately well branched with about 22 buds. The 6" blooms on MAUI PRINCESS are done in a clear shade of blue-red with a shadow-like watermark; a large lime green throat and just drips with gold teeth and lace. An altogether fancy combination. A beautiful flower, and fertile both ways. Unusual teeth genetics from crossing BORN TO RUN with one of my best teeth seedlings from HORNS. Plants are large in size, with arching blue-green foliage. Reblooms.
