It’s time to start listing again. We have some line outs and we are breaking up some clumps. Our plants look very good and we are quite proud of our listings!! Everything we are listing is ready to go.  WE DO NOT SELL undersized PLANTS! We describe the plants  as they are now, not as we hope they will be at shipping time. 

We mix our own soil, including alfalfa, bone meal, blood meal and  WORM CASTINGS. We feed primarily with Miracle Grow with minors and  SEAWEED CONCENTRATE. We do not force our plants to grow. We use good old California sunshine, water, nutrients and TIME(maturity). We rely heavily on organic products for insect and disease control---we also have  LADYBUGS, GREEN LACEWINGS AND PRAYING MANTIS on patrol for us.  In most cases, you will find the HYBRIDIZERS NOTES below.---Thanks for looking!!

I remember when I first set my eyes on this wild seedling. I was so sick of seeing dull dirty Tet Texas Kaleidoscope kid’s bed after bed, and then Boom… there she was. The first thing that caught my eye was the intensity of the green throat, and then the bluish patterns pulled out onto the sepals. I stood back to re-adjust my eyes, made sure it had my (7) standards and then when it did - in went the blue flag! Viva Las Vegas looks exactly like the photo from first bloom to last and is not effected by temperature. When the temps get up in the 90’s Viva Las Vegas will begin occasionally doubling, or having blooms with extra petals and bits, I love it. Extremely heavy substance for any daylily, and I have a photo of her after a 12 noon pounding rain. Almost everything was wet tissue except for the clumps of Viva Las Vegas. We definitely hit the jackpot on this one. And by the way kids of Viva Las Vegas are clean in color! Fertile both ways.

We dig, dip, clip and ship on the same day and plants are carefully prepared for shipping promptly after they come out of the soil.  Shipping is $12 for the first plant and additional wins will be $3 for each single or double fan and $5 for those with 3 or more fans shipped in the same box (we will do our best to combine as many as we can). Your largest win will be your first plant. WE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MAKE MONEY ON SHIPPING CHARGES!! We have checked many times, and the vast majority of times our fees are very close to the actual charges.
