STARLIGHT SPLASH (Reed 2012) EM 28" DOR this 7" pink with patterned eyezone gives the impression of being much larger. A cold dominant pattern but one that maintains here in all but the hottest weather. I've had this daylily since 2008 (visitors know it as "Margo's Patterned Seedling") and have seen some remarkable seedlings from it. Passes pattern, size and can pick up unusual forms. In fact, the first bloom I ever saw of STARLIGHT SPLASH in my garden had perfect, tightly quilled sepals. Sure wish I'd gotten a photo of that! Sports one lateral and only 15 buds but with the amount of scapes it produces, there wouldn't be room for more. A very important break for patterned Unusual Forms. Fertile both ways but pollen in much easier, it makes narrowish fans. ("Snook's Light Eyed Seedling" X CRYSTALLINE ENTITY).
You are considering one bare root double fan or, rarely, two single fans that would be mailed in spring, 2015. Shipping usually begins in May but there have been years where I was able to ship as early as the second week in April.
The garden is state inspected. We have never had daylily rust nor daylily leafminer.
