HARD DORMANT Darlene goes to sleep early in the fall :)

Darlene was named for a friend's wife..who is a wiz in the kitchen with the sweet stuff. Not only that but Darlene would not leave my garden without a piece of this seedling :) Darlene's Confection is registered at 5.25 inches with scape height at 26 inches . Her beautiful wide coral edge and eye are offset by the simple ivory petals... Her blooms always present this nicely. She sometimes doubles... so I have registered her with this in mind. She set a pod with almost each pollination here, the past 3 years. Wish I had saved her first seeds, but I had no idea how nice she would become. Her pollen is HOT and she sets pods on DLs that would not pod with anyone else. She has pristine plant habit and blooms nicely above the foliage. We have bloomed a first seedling out of Crimson Cowboy and it is LOVELY. We will divide off your fans when she has greened up nicely.

We are an organic farm: no BAP, pesticides or chems...

Note: Our spring fans may be smaller than southerns...due to climate issues and outdoor culture. We do want you to receive daylilies from us, that WE would enjoy receiving. This will be a blooming size fans minimum. We are aiming for a late April, early May shipping time. All depends on mother nature :)
