John Benz's Carnival Sensation. A single lined out fan from my Utah garden. John's description and photo. To be shipped in Mid May. CARNIVAL SENSATION (Benz) tet 30" M. Dor. (Carnival Splendor X Tetra Cranberry Eyed Picotee)  This big stunning sib to CARNIVAL DREAM is also a large 6" cream pink with a huge brilliant red eye-but CARNIVAL SENSATION (Seedling CSp-CEP-2) is a larger, heavier and more ruffled bloom and boasts the boldest red picotee border of all 3 sibs. Color is a clear soft pink with a startling bright red band that extends half way out on the petals. A matching red picotee border and bright green throat further embellish this stunning bloom. The picture on top shows color in early morning, cool wet weather; bottom pic is more typical taken about 8 p.m. after a full sun 90 degree day. The intense red color of the eyezone in CARNIVAL SENSATION is the end result of stacking the best red-eyed converted diploids on top of one another for 5 generations. For perfection of form, substance, color and sheer beauty, CARNIVAL SENSATION surpasses anything so far introduced from Tetra PEPPERMINT DELIGHT, and is hard dormant-a huge plus. Very heavy substance and yet always flat and always perfect regardless of cold nights. Foliage is large and arching, with tall strong scapes and 3-way branching, and a bud-count can soar close to 30. Reblooms here in Ohio. Fragrant and fertile both ways. CARNIVAL SENSATION is rock hardy BLUE GREEN DORMANT.
