Tetraploid 30" Mid Late season Semi-Evergreen to Semi-Dormant emo fr 6.5" 3-4 way branching 18-24 buds. Fertile both ways. Rebloomer. Very good rust resistance. USDA Plant Hardiness Zone 5-10.
Part of my Wolf Series, like last year's Black Wolf, I consider Wild Wolf one of my most STUNNING cultivars this year. Destined to become a legendary favorite of garden visitors, collectors, daylily exhibitors and hybridizers, Wild Wolf, with his INTENSE dark amethyst petals and sultry Violet eye is one of the most stunning toothy cultivars of this generation, Gleaming white and gold teeth can be up to a half inch long on the outside of its ruffled picotee edge. Wild Wolf opens perfectly, warm or cold nights, has deeply branched show scapes and 22 buds. With Double toothy breeding on both sides, Wild Wolf will be a great parent for toothy patterns, toothy eyes, and even larger more dramatic toothy flowers. UNFORGETTABLE once you see it!
