Single fans: the Daredevil version of a half-price sale!
CHEAP QUILLS (Michaels 2008) M 30" SEV 8½" cream, pink and yellow blend Crispate (also Spatulate) Unusual Form that, to some eyes, bears the silhouette of a Lady Slipper orchid. Stout scapes with a terminal Y with 2 laterals, up to 37 buds, and excellent pod (once established) and pollen fertility. Makes average to large sized fans. A quilled Crispate Unusual Form, it's a sibling to PLATYPUS PAM and is the pod parent of STARFISH ENTERPRISE. Reblooms in wetter years and has been reported to be rust resistant. (WILSON SPIDER X PRETZEL LOGIC).
You are considering one bare root single fan that would be mailed in spring, 2015. Shipping usually begins in May but there have been years where I was able to ship as early as the second week in April.
The garden is state inspected. We have never had daylily rust nor daylily leafminer.
Payment: Unless prior arrangements have been made, payment is expected within 10 days following the close of this auction.
To US addresses: Shipment will be via USPS Priority Mail. Please include $10.00 postage plus $1.00 for each additional plant to be shipped to the same address. New York state residents, please add 8% sales tax.
To Canadian addresses: Shipment will be via UPS or USPS International Priority Mail on May 26, 2015. Please include $50.00 ($25.00 phytosanitary certification fee plus $25.00 postage) and $1.00 per additional plant to be shipped to the same address. For those of you who request UPS shipment, please note that UPS requires a phone number.
Sorry, no shipments to Oregon without a phytosanitary certificate. There is a $6.00 charge per address for the certificate for all plants shipped to OR, and the shipment date would be May 26 to coincide with the Canadian shipment day.
Note: the throat is not as green as shown in the clump photo but when I tried to correct for it the blooms became deep pink
