LAST TWO NOW RUNNING
What a remarkable bloom this one is.
I purchased this at one of the Regionals several years back, from Jamie Gossard’s seedling bed.
I remember him saying, "You want THAT one?" and I explained how much I love browns, and thought it was beautiful.
I have used this outstanding Gossard seedling for several years now. It sets pods like crazy, and the pollen is super easy!
Just look at the great genes this plant has:
Pod Parent: Oakes Love ((Curly Rosy Posey × Spider Miracle) × (sdlg × Wind Frills))
Pollen Parent: Heavenly Mr. Twister (Rings and Things × Wildest Dreams)
The scapes are upright and strong, with a height of 34" to 36" this year!
Foliage is clean and stands at about 16" giving the plant nice scale.
The naturally standing flower is about 6".
It is a dormant dip, and rapid multiplier, which says alot for being up here in the 'tundra' of zone 4b. It also is a bud builder here in good years, a real asset for late blooms.
It's seed is incredible, bursting out like gangbusters, and germinating super quick, so quick in fact, I had emailed the group to ask if anyone had ever seen this behavior. It is so unusual that I could tell what seed came from this plant before even looking at the tag!
First photo in the morning in shade, second photo in the late afternoon in sun.
I now have many seedlings from this plant, so I thought I would share this great breeder with you.
You are bidding on a single blooming fan, which could have a baby fan with it, but no guarantee.
