Each year the American Daylily Society runs a popularity poll. Members are asked to vote on cultivars that they like in their gardens. If you look at the listings for a particular region, you can get an idea of cultivars that are growing well in that region. The value of the popularity poll is only as good as the participation in that poll. If few members vote, the poll can be heavily scewed towards a certain cultivar. Therefore, it is your civic duty as a member of ADS to vote each year. If you are not a member, please consider joining so that you may participate as well. Unfortunately, not anything to do with voter suppression, the popularity poll for this year has ended. You can view the results at the American Daylily Society site (easy to find on Google). Voting of all kinds is not just a privilege, but a responsibility, in a free and democratic society. Whenever you get a chance to vote on anything, please do so---It does make a difference. It is one way we can improve the flower we love.

I try to use as many pictures as possible of the different cultivars in my listings. You will have to do some homework using the American Hemerocallis Society Database, and the All Things Plants Daylily Database run by The National Gardening Association (easy to find with Google) to research the crosses to see if they meet your needs. It will be well worth your effort.
