I LOVE THE EYE AND APPLIQUE ON BOTH OF THESE GREAT PLANTS..
A BODACIOUS PATTERN
(Morss,2001) (Mandala x Shark's Tooth) X (Opus One x Inner View) 29" EM Re Ex Ev 5 ¾" - 6". Wonderful, indeed, is this classic to be example of a patterned daylily! The bloom is a cool, greyed lavender color with a distinctive, grape violet eyezone, intersected with a three pointed yellow to green star-shaped, perfectly patterned throat, on petals and sepals. The form is widespread, with wide, overlapped petals, and sepals slightly rolled back. Texture is smooth and diamond dusted. The strongly recurrent scapes have up to 7-way branching and hold up to 35 - 40 buds and more. Fertile both ways.

BLUE BEAT
(Stamile,P. 2009) TET 673 (Which Way X Cosmic Odyssey) 36” MRe. emo. vfr. Ev. 4.25” x 2.5” x 1.5”. 6-way branching (4 laterals plus terminal “y”) 48-50 buds.
HYBRIDIZER’S DESCRIPTION:
Of all the possible color combinations of the blue eye I love this color combination of a lavender blue eye and edge on a clear pink flower.
BLUE BEAT best illustrates how far the tets have come toward getting blue. Up to now only the diploid miniatures had what non-daylily folks would agree on is blue. Tets had what is called “daylily blue”, a kind of bluish slate color or bluish lavender. Like most blue eyes the color is not fixed. The image shows a typical bloom which may be bluer on first blooms and more blue lavender on later blooms. Still, if you want blue in the eye of the daylily BLUE BEAT comes as close to any.
An outstanding daylily. Fertile both ways.

CROSSES ARE LISTED AS POD X POLLEN. I WILL TELL IF I SHOW THE PIC IN REVERSE ORDER.
I AM SHIPPING INTERNATIONALLY TO THOSE WHO CAN RECEIVE SEEDS. $7 for 10 wins (I give lots of bonus seeds). U.S. SHIP IS $3 FOR 10 WINS. This includes lots of bonuses.
I LOVE HYBRIDIZING ...and have no room to plant many seeds since I have moved to California. So I have bought the plants I loved for BLUE, PATTERNS, BLACKS, AND TENDRILS..and am crossing them with some of my selected seedlings (hopefully to be introduced in the near future.)
I hope you will have some fun buying some packets of unusual combinations of color and pattern and winning a Stout Medal..or at least having the excitement of that first bloom.
I will be using my own photos when possible (of course, all seedlings will be my photos). Should I inadvertently put up a photo I have copied from the web and it is yours, let me know..I will give you credit or change it.
All seeds are 2014 seeds and will be shipped immediately after payment. Seeds vary in size and wrinkling, this does not affect their ability to germinate.
Seeds were air dried for 1-2 days, passed the "squeeze" test for viability and have been refrigerated for at least 2 weeks in zip sealed bags.
PAYPAL is preferred, but checks and money orders will be accepted. Payment to be received in 7 days, unless notified. Seeds will be mailed in bubble envelopes once payment is received. To combine wins just let me know. Postage is $3.00 for the first win, with no additional charge for up to 10 wins, if won in a two week period and shipped together.
