AUCTION IS FOR 10 SEEDS. Cross should make good B&B. POD: APOPHIS Mahieu / Burris '07, 7.5”, 42”, Dor, Dip, Mid / instant rebloom. PINCHED CRISPATE UF purple black with velvety black halo chartreuse throat. Superlative in every way, very consistent form. This is one of the most fertile plants we have ever seen. Radically fertile both ways with diploids, and will set pods on tetraploids. Microscopic examination of pollen shows both diploid and tetraploid pollen indicating unreduced gametes. Set pods on these tets: 'Outrageous Fortune" some of John Kinnebrew's 'Spacecoast' series and Laura Burris's tetraploid seedlings.[{seedling x (SERPENT’S TOOTH x SATYR)}X(SATCHMO x BLUE ENTURE)]. POLLEN: H. F. ROSEA #1 ROSALIND A. B. Stout 1938, 4", 42" DOR, DIP, Mid, (A. B. Stout, 1938) Obtained from Dr. A Steward, 1930. Rosy pink with darker eyezone, light midribs, Origin: Kuling, China. Very similar to H. fulva var. rosea. One of the best in my opinion as far as the old species go, with a clear rose pink that is second to none, even in modern cultivars. pod and pollen fertile. Payment is due with a check or money order within 7 DAYS of auction close. Please enclose alias when sending payment. Shipping is 3.00 in a bubble envelope no matter how many seeds you buy. Seeds cannot be combined with daylily orders. Germinating seeds are subject to many conditions; we cannot guarantee the germination rate. Seed size & shape vary, seeds wrinkle & shrivel. If you have any questions, please email me. Thanks for looking!
