(Benz) tet 34" M. Dor. Scarlet Shuriken x [(White Fang x Ruby Corona) X HORNS]This brilliant flaming red is engulfed with intense gold shark's teeth and is one of the most dramatic teeth varieties in the garden. VOLCANO GODDESS blooms on tall beautifully branched scapes and literally screams for attention. GAUDY is an apt one word description for this garden beacon! VOLCANO GODDESS is the first in a line of spectacular teeth varieties produced by crossing my WHITE FANG f-2 line with my seedlings from HORNS. HORNS and its first generation sdlgs tend to have huge teeth on the outer petal, which diminish in size as they go towards the throat. WHITE FANG and the SHURIKENS exhibit the largest teeth on the inner half of the petal. Crossing these 2 lines was obvious and produced the “next” generation of teeth here at Benz gardens. Boasting 3-4 way branching and a bud-count in the of 25 plus, VOLCANO GODDESS is taller, better branched and more vigorous than either parent, and incredibly fertile both ways. Plants are large, with wide arching blue-green foliage. This seedling exceeded all my expectations and over the next 2 years I will bloom hundreds of kids from VOLCANO GODDESS as both pod and pollen parent.SOLD OUT
