Once again--here is a cross with the beautiful FLOURISH OF TRUMPETS; a plant as close to flawless as you can get. It is my favorite plant in all the garden, filling the late border with beautiful scapes that bear a long succession of crisply ruffled citron yellow flowers.
MISTER WIZARD does not bloom in the early mid for me. It's more of a midseason bloomer, and the long period of flowering allwed me to make this cross. It is also a wonderful garden flower, with good strong scapes for their height, and a profusion of big flowers.
Bitones often make interesting and unexpected colors--so this cross might just surprise--I would guess eyezones are a pretty sure bet.
