Brookie Bug
Tet. Dor., Fr., EM., Re., 35 in. sc.; 5 - 5.25 in. fl., 4 way branching with 35 buds. These wide petaled, dark purple flowers were named by Tony Thompson after his wife’s puppy
‘Brookie Bug’, Tony loved this flower the moment he saw it. It’s no wonder with the beautiful form and heavily ruffled gold edge covered in hooks, knobs and elongated gold teeth. The bright green throat further accents this flower. Fertile both ways and very fragrant. [‘John Peat’ x (‘Forces of Nature’ x ‘Heline Pressley’] x ‘Spiny Sea Urchin’.
Ruby And Peridots (Sattelmeier 2014)
Seedling 25-321B: Stippled Statement (Lambertson, 2007) x Bitten Ag'in (Agin,2007)
Height 27in (68.5cm), bloom 5.75in (14.6cm), Petals 3.0in W x 3.5in L, season M, Reblooms, Evergreen, Tetraploid, 25 buds, 5 branches.
Opens with Peritot teeth on petals and sepals with a intense dark ruby flower and a darker eye. It has 5.75 inch to 6 inch blooms with 6 way plus branching. Larry Grace spotted this one in one of my seedling pots that I had pulled to look at again. He told me to get the pollen as I walked by. He told me it was green toothy one and he was surprised to see it in my pots as he was working on green teeth ones at the time. Anyway I let him guest one of them after I had a few extra of them. Very pod Fertile and pollen is good also. Reblooms.
