As it gets closer to the end of this season for me, the listings get better, the bonuses more generous. Don’t miss out!!
AND THIS IS A GOOD ONE FOR UFO LOVERS! Bear with me...this will take a minute.
Every year I list some of the lost wire crosses, and those I screwed up in record keeping. This is the day.
28 total SEEDS from:
1. Unknown POD parent X Small World 3D Snowflake-7 seeds. This is another one of my goofs that I can't blame on my husband. I neglected to mark the drying cup...again. But I DID put the i.d. in the cup, so I know this is a "3D" cross. Because of the timing I also know the pod parent is one of our registrations out of Return To Sender X Skeezix. Possibilities of double UFs.
2. CREEP (our deep purple shown below.) CREEP missed being a spider by 1/16th of an inch, and I didn't want to get called on it...so I registered it as a UFO. The pollen parent is either Candy From A Baby (Return To Sender X Skeezix), or Madam I'm Adam (Return To Sender X Wild Wookie.)
3. Pretty Is As Pretty Does (Hamilton) X UNK-could be anything. We use this powerhouse pod setter to test for pollen fertility, but we usually use pretty colors on her. PIAPD is known here for yummy shades and long petals. 5 seeds.
4. Return To Sender (Bachman-mommy to several of our registrations, makes pretty stuff, especially with Skeezix) Pollen is probably Skeezix, as we repeated this breeding after 10 years.
5. Almost Famous X Unk. 7 seeds. AF is a Bachman, very fertile both ways, curb appeal, makes gorgeous colors in UFs. Another one that is such a good mama that it could be a lot of things, but probably a red UFO.
All of these crosses are made with tried and true Northern hardy, mostly dormant cultivars.
**NOTE: Please take into account that there are five packs in this offer, and that will take up the room of five wins in a 6 x 9 envelope.
SORRY, NO BONUS WITH THIS OFFER.
Bonus seeds with each win as long as payment is received within 10 days of auction close. Whenever possible, bonus will be extra seeds from listed cross.
We hope you will find our listings of interest. We have worked closely with Jackson’s Daylilies and Gold Coast Daylilies for several years. Now, sadly, both of these fine hybridizers have chosen to retire. We will continue to offer many crosses from selected seedlings, and introductions from both gardens that can not be found anywhere else.
All seeds are from the 2016 season, and have been dried at least 48 hours before refrigeration. They have been chilled at least 3 weeks by the close of the auction. All seeds, whether primary listing, or bonus seeds, are crosses we would happily plant ourselves, if we had the space.
We do not have a greenhouse. All of our plants have to survive Ohio winters, and in some years, the even worse Ohio springs.
Please note that all daylily seeds are not round and smooth. Many are flat, some more wrinkled than others.
We prefer PayPal for payment, but will accept money orders, and personal checks. NOTE: Our bank is now requesting that we allow 2 weeks for personal checks to clear. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
We will ship overseas, but can not be responsible for international shipments unless the buyer pays for expedited shipping via DHL, UPS, or Express Mail.
Shipping within U.S is $3.00. I sincerely regret that recent postal increases have forced me to raise my shipping and handling costs for Canada to $9.00 and most overseas countries to $13.00. No sales to Indonesia. It is the buyer’s responsibility to be aware of any restrictions on seed sales.
I can not guarantee overseas delivery once the seeds leave the US.
Shipping will change if postage goes up.
PayPal ONLY for overseas orders.
Price is for as many wins as I can cram in one 6 x 9 mailer. (Usually 12) After 12 wins, I can ship in a small, flat-rate box. Check with me prior to shipment.
I will happily combine shipping, but if you would like me to hold wins while you continue bidding, please contact me.
Please do not bid if you cannot pay promptly.
Thank you for checking out my auctions, and have fun bidding.
