Pod parent of BOITZER GREEN JOSEPHINE, GREEN ICON, JEANNIE’S LIMELIGHT, the Stout Medal winning ROSE F. KENNEDY, SEARCH FOR GREEN PASTURES and GREEN SUN RISING; pollen parent of BATGIRL, CHARMCASTER, CHASING YOUR DREAMS, DARK WITCH, EMERALD TOUCANET, EXOTIC EMERALD, IGOR F PAACIOUS, MD., MALACHITE SUNBIRD, MONEY MAKER, OZ’S TIN MAN, PEA GREEN WITH ENVY, PHIL WARBASSE, RHAPSODY IN GREEN, SALLY SUE, SALLY SUE’S FEATHERED BOA and SALLY SUE’S SISTER with many more no doubt to come, especially using the tet conversion.
Pollen parent: JUDY JUNGLE CAT (Michaels 2015 intro registered in 2014) Mre 37" SEV (towards DOR) 9-10" (11¾-12¼" wingspan) This seriously large hot rose 4.086-4.33:1 Spider with a deeper halo over large yellow to quite green throat has strong scapes with a terminal Y and one lateral holding 16-20 buds. Capturing the true color has exceedingly difficult as my camera most often shifts it too far towards red. Reblooming, the flowers open flat even after cold nights. An extremely difficult pod parent, it is easily pollen fertile. Named for Judy Hoffman, a member of my local daylily club (and not related to Pam Hoffman of Mystic Meadows Daylily Farm but they're the best of friends), it makes narrow fans and passes great color and size to its kids. Seedling FLKFLAPZL-6 [FLAMINGO LIPSTICK X (FLAMINGO FLAMBEAU x PRETZEL LOGIC)].
Goals: Bigger with greener throats.
