(Dan Trimmer) Tetraploid (Unknown x Unknown) 41� E. Re. 6 3/4� Ev. (Sdlg. 9-462) This beautiful round, full, clean pale lavender has a subtle raspberry eye and edge surrounded by gold. Pod fertility in flowers this large is usually a problem especially in the heat of Florida. I was able to easily set pods all season long much to my surprise and delight last spring and summer. This very large flower sits atop tall (41�) scapes so it is not for the very front of the garden. This classic is very important in my breeding program.

(Intricate By Design x Ocean Wild) x (Blue Crush) Sev. 5� fl. 20� sc. M 23 buds. Cold hardy, excellent rust tolerance, fertile both ways, reblooms. The blossoms of this variety are a misty rose self with a large lawngreen throat. The pattern eye is slate blue surrounded by a purple mascara band. The eye continues around the petal edges as a matching picotee, surrounded by a bright yellow edge. We have worked hard to put great edges on our pattern daylilies and �Best Bet� is a good example of this goal. The pressing, clear colors with striking edges is deeply ingrained into our lines, thanks in part to this cultivar and offspring. A real winner and great addition to any serious collection.
