This big stunning sib to CARNIVAL TIME is also a large 6" cream pink with a huge brilliant red eye-but CARNIVAL DREAM (Seedling CSp-CEP-1) is a much more dramatic bloom and boasts the biggest boldest red band I have seen in any daylily. Color is a clear soft pink with a startling bright red eye that extends half way out on the petals. A matching red picotee border and bright green throat further embellish this stunning bloom. The intense red color of the eyezone in CARNIVAL DREAM is the end result of stacking the best red-eyed converted diploids on top of one another for 5 generations. For perfection of form, substance, color and sheer beauty, CARNIVAL DREAM surpasses anything so far introduced from Tetra PEPPERMINT DELIGHT, and is hard dormant-a huge plus. Very heavy substance and yet always flat and always perfect regardless of cold nights. Foliage is large and arching, with tall strong scapes and 3-way branching, and a bud-count as high as 20. Rossen�s Red Lips is the pinnacle of our red eye and edge breeding. We are well known for our previous introductions in this color type and unlike some Rossen�s Red Lips has intense true red colors, the throat is bright green with a large red eye. The petals have a large ruffled edge of the same color. The base color is a very lite chiffon yellow giving a wonderful contrast.
