Flowers of VAMPIRE FISH are rose pink with a darker rose wine eye zone. Sepals and petals are edged in claws, fangs, teeth, and tentacles. The color of the teeth can vary depending upon position. They can be gold, green, and white. Has a yellow green throat. And it is a dormant. Has a lot of eyed daylilies in its background. It is a full sib to Larry's Twilight Bite, but a pink version. It is my absolute favorite of all my teeth introductions to date. I have never seen a daylily with with more teeth than Vampire Fish. I have everyone that I show it to touch the teeth. They come out in all directions by 3/4 inch and some are over an inch long. Great parent for hybridizing for patterned eyes and teeth which are also patterned. When I lined it out in September it was still sending up rebloom scapes. A super garden and hybridizing daylily. It starts blooming mid late season and can go all the way until frost.
