Tetraploid, 4¾"-5"Bloom, Dormant, scape height 24", Mid-Season-Late, Rebloom, Fragrant, Diurnal, Buds 15, 3 way branching.

"Heavenly Pink Fang is an outrageous fanged daylily. It is the first pink daylily introduced that I know of with Teeth. The teeth are very yellow on both the petals and sepals, which adds great contrast to the flower. Flowers are 4¾"-5" with a small green throat and yellow eye, 3 way branching, 12-15 bud count and dark green foliage which is resistant to spring sickness and leaf streak. Photo is just an average bloom. If it gets hot, the teeth are much bigger. Heavenly Pink Fang is a very strong rebloomer much like it's sib Buzz Saw. It is an extremely important parent for hybridizing for teeth daylilies; it puts teeth and dormancy into any of the southern or northern edged flowers. Mainly used in my program for bagel forms, however has produced a wonderful pink fanged unusual form daylily. I wanted to use it heavy this last year before introduction, in the greenhouse produced 110 pods on her, with only five dormant pollen parents. Thus to say very pod fertile would be an understatement. I consider this the Ida's Magic of the North for a teeth daylily."

Vampire Fish

Tetraploid, height 38 in.(97 cm), bloom 9 in.(23 cm), season MLa, Rebloom, Dormant, Fragrant, 28 buds, 5 branches.
Color: Rose pink with a darker eye zone and green throat, petals and sepals are covered with hooks, fangs and claws which varies in color from white to gold.

Hexaploid, 38" Scape, Mid Late season Dormant emo fr 9" 4-5 way branching 22-28 buds. Fertile both ways. Rebloomer.
"Flowers of VAMPIRE FISH are rose pink with a darker rose wine eye zone. Sepals and petals are edged in claws, fangs, teeth, and tentacles. The color of the teeth can vary depending upon position. They can be gold, green, and white. Has a yellow green throat. And it is a dormant. Has a lot of eyed daylilies in its background. It is a full sib to Larry's Twilight Bite, but a pink version. It is my absolute favorite of all my teeth introductions to date. I have never seen a daylily with with more teeth than Vampire Fish. I have everyone that I show it to touch the teeth. They come out in all directions by 3/4 inch and some are over an inch long. Great parent for hybridizing for patterned eyes and teeth which are also patterned. When I lined it out in September it was still sending up rebloom scapes. A super garden and hybridizing daylily. It starts blooming mid late season and can go all the way until frost."

This cross was made from (true to name) registered daylilies, in my garden, and are from the 2017 crop.
For best germination, buyer should place seeds in damp refrigeration for 4 to 6 weeks, prior to planting. I give bonus seeds, of my choosing, with each shipment.
