Cream white petals with a big blue eye pattern. A fuchsia ring outlines the blue eye of PERSISTANT BUTTERFLY above a green throat. A double edge of white and blue matches the blue eye. Low arching foliage. Fertile both ways.

BIG EYED BUTTERFLY is our best navy blue on cream based flower. Like many blue eyes the color is not a uniform navy blue self but appears first as an outer plum band shading into navy blue and then shading into gray and then charcoal. This is a wild color combination. Interestingly, it shows a little different combination of colors on the sepals where there is a distinct lavender band between the outer plum and inner navy blue.

BIG EYED BUTTERFLY is a rare color combination that is destined to be explored in the patterns as well as the blue eyes. Daylilies are wonderful for presenting so many possibilities and BIG EYED BUTTERFLY will be great for opening new doors. Pollen fertile but a difficult pod parent.

All seeds are from the 2017 Growing season from my Kentucky garden . All seeds have been refrigerated for over 3 weeks & are ready to plant .

Shipping will be $3.00 for USA , mailed in a padded bubble mailer ( if you would like priority mail in a box you may pay for that shipping cost if you would like that )

All orders will have bonus seeds of same cross , or my choice . Customers in the past love getting extra of the cross they buy , so thats what i usually send .
