OH, MY HOPING FOR LOTS OF BLUE IN THE EYE. THIS SEEDLING IS SO GORGEOUS WITH ITS FLAMESTITCHING.
BLUE JAY TAPESTRY
(Pierce, G. 2013)
HYBRIDIZER’S DESC.:
167-J ((Blue Beat x Blue Desire) x Tet Texas Kaleidoscope) EV EM 32 “ 5.5” flower, 7 way branching, 40-50 buds Fragrant. From a breeders stand point, if you have used Tet Texas Kaleidoscope and seen firsthand your own seedlings, you would never believe this purest blue coloration ofBLUE JAY TAPESTRYcould have come from TTK! It’s called a lot of luck and the reward of long crosses. There’s almost always one that is So much better…BLUE JAY TAPESTRYlooks exactly like the picture day after day!
What is so amazing about this flower is that with all the work Floyd Cove has done with blue over the past decade, here is a flower that is hands down superior in blue coloration and it comes from a non-blue parent. The blue is so soothing with the almost pure white base color and the green throat. You will absolutely love this flower. Fertile both ways. Very limited!

TET (PAINTED PALACE X GET JIGGY)
SEEDLING, GARDEN NAME “FLAMESTITCHED”
THIS IS A 6 INCH PALE PINK WITH A WHITE UNDERTONE. YOU CAN SEE ON THE RUFFLES, THAT THE WHITE IS ON THE EDGE. IT HAS THE LOVELIEST PATTERN OF LILAC AND PINK WITH A HINT OF BLUE TONES IN THE PATTERN LIKE AN ANTIQUE FLAME STICHED TAPESTRY, NEXT TO THE VERY GREEN THROAT.
THE EDGING IS WHITE ,PINK AND MAGENTA, THREE DISTINCT BANDS..WHICH I LOVE. IT IS ALSO A VERY FLAT FORM, NOT TRUMPET SHAPED.
