HYBRIDIZING GOAL for this cross: "Chow" is surprise Reese Renee seedling I bloomed last year. I was so excited...! I will be naming this one for the daughter of a good daylily friend. Increase has been good. I may fast track this to register..for ease of use in my hybridizing program. I lost scapes in the hailstorm, BUT was able to save pollen to spread around. Enjoy this share. Hoping for HUGE green teeth with Green Revolution behind the pod parent seedling. Brave Ulysses popped multiple heavenly scapes this year. The plant and scapewere protected, by a building, from our terrible hailstorm. Another lucky save. BU podded nicely this season so hope to have more seeds to share. ENJOY!!

****In previous years, I loved to describe in detail reasons I choose to use a cultivar for hybridizing. With the huge amount of auctions I am listing these past few years, I have had to cut back on details, and will list hybridizing goals instead. Hoping to streamline auction listings. Please feel free to contact me through the auction for extra questions you may have. I am always happy to answer them :)

ABOUT US:I still work full time, so this labor of love is performed on my days off, with the able assistance of hubby Dave and maybe a young garden helper. We have approximately 4 acres around our house under cultivation. We use these daylilies for hybridizing. We love to keep current on other hybridizers' new introductions to augment our hybridizing program. I hybridize for myself first...then LOVE sharing. You will bloom crosses that I have created for myself. Hopefully you will see the promise of these crosses too . :) Many involve my own seedlings. They rarely let me down. ENJOY!!!
