You are bidding on 5 seeds of Four Beasts In One x Timeless Beauty. These seeds are from my field grown plants in Mi that have been dried and chilled for at least 3 weeks. I double check my seeds before shipping and I try to give a seed or 2 extra of the winning cross as a bonus. For those who may bid on some of my other offerings and would prefer to pay with one check, just let me know.
Four Beasts in One
(DeCaire, 2009)
Four Beasts in One has held my interest over time. It does funny things like going all metallic or suddenly donning two silly striped eyebrows. Four Beasts in One is named after a story by Poe about a ruthless emperor whose dominion was besieged by four beasts. It has a multi-banded pattern that can break into four or more cycles. This is my most important pattern breeder and its kids are typically healthy and strong northern seedlings. It is a cool morning opener.
As a plantFour Beasts in Oneis a dream of perfection with clean, deep green arching foliage and fat fans that emerge from dormancy beautifully. This summer ithad 5 well-spaced branches and 42 buds after top-dressing with mushroom compost in spring. 2010 intro.

Flowers of Timeless Beauty are pale pink with deeper purple patterned eye and picotee white edge above yellow green throat. A very rare daylily, there are very few tetraploid dormant patterned daylilies today. The pattern is very stable, both in Ohio and Flordia. Timeless Beauty should grow well across all the daylily zones. If you are hybridizing patterns, this is a must have. Easy to use, full sun both ways
