KINGDOM WITHOUT END TET 57802{ (Tim Kornder x Born to Reign) x Darla Anita}, 26” (range of 22”-28”), M, Sev, instant MN rebloom on almost all scapes, fr, 6” (range of 6”-7”depending on recurving), EMO even on very cold mornings, 4-way branching most years with 2-lats + V (range of 3-5 way) and 5-way some years, 18 buds (range of 12-25). Clear rose cranberry violet grape with lavender wash; lavender plus ivory white edge; butter yellow to lime green throat. Edge will show sharks in the 90’s. Clear color, flawless blooms on every scape on every plant every day (no spotting from rain or dew or insects), blooms for weeks, great scape, great foliage, super hardy, blossoms self-cleaning (not gloppy the next morning), perfect presentation every day. A standout from its initial bloom and a visitor magnet. Super parent, especially for white and sharky edges. Fertile both ways. As close to a perfect plant and flower that I have ever grown. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

SONG OF THE SEA

TET 48010 {sdlg x (Repeat the Sounding Joy x sdlg} x Desire of Nations. The seedlings are too complicated to spell out, but include some unexpected things like Jane Trimmer, Storm Shelter, Moses in the Bulrushes. 5.5" (sometimes 6"), 28", 3-way branching (5-way in the GH), 19 buds (loads more inside), ML, Ev, rebloom (but not in MN), fr. Burgundy; icy dark lavender eye; icy dark lavender plus ivory edge; yellow to green throat.
Picture 1 is its maiden bloom. Picture 6 is in the greenhouse. Sometimes has teeth and tendrils. Fast grower. Tested at Mike Derrow's in West Virginia zone 6 where it has reliable rebloom, performs well in their winters as well as after spring frosts and in dry weather, and gives very rich color to its seedlings. Also tested in Texas where it holds its color well. Easily fertile both ways. I didn't use it much because it was tender in its initial Minnesota location. Once planted in a more protected spot 15 feet south of the greenhouse, it has performed beautifully. That said, I am reluctant to sell it to anyone in zone 4 or lower (although I'd consider gifting it), and will guarantee it for 2 years in other zones.
