Is there such a thing as a perfect daylily? Probably not but Derek�s Triumph comes close. Saturated cherry red base color is amplified by a bright green throat and washed eye. Shape is so round and over lapped that you wished all your flowers looked this way. Even the blunt sepals add to the flower and on top of all that is a large ruffled cream and gold petal edge. A big Oh Wow!

Tetraploid 34" Early Season Semi-Evergreen emo fr 7.5" 3-4 way branching 18-22 buds. Fertile both ways. Rebloomer. Very good rust resistance. USDA Plant Hardiness Zone 5-10.

Precious Kiss is what people say can't be done- create a lovely, southern look on a northern hardy daylily. Precious Kiss is a HUGE daylily for a round daylily- at 7.5" makes a definite statement in the garden. A ruffled feminine edge surrounds the sunfast raspberry petals, and a small jagged sawtooth edge frames the flower. I have strived to extend the bloom season in daylilies with stunning cultivars on either end of the bloom time spectrum so the garden can look great from first bloom to last. Precious Kiss is one of those achievements, leading the pack with her early season bloom
