What a beauty, and again different from my many other Double Edged introductions.  And to think…  If Mr. wonderful had thrown out that years seed of mine TOO – Ideas that did not fit into “his” way of crossing, I may have never realized this cross potential, given-up and simply crossed boring to boring, Whoopee.  I know I’m being dramatic, but hey… you DO NOT toss other people’s hard work.  And Worse…  Outcrossing is a lot of work and extra expense.  So thank God I had the good sense to keep my own seed that third year, or in the trash it would have gone.  Neither I nor the rest of the world would have had the enjoyment from such exciting new daylilies!!!  Now I’m all Fired-Up.  Again… Thanking God and moving forward… OK DUELING COLORS, I Love It.  She’s larger and taller than all the others.  Has a heavier substance ribbing coming from the throat, and much Showier than Mr. Bojangles.  But you still can’t beat the green in Bojangles.  A great scape, strong grower and an extra easy pod parent, DUELING COLORS will make your eyes and heart very happy.  I promise you’ll love her.  Every bloom is perfection.

Holy Moly is just what I said when I first saw this Daylily bloom. Very large blooms on tall scape are intricately colored. The base color is cream lavender with a washed eye of lavender blue. In this eye is a white starburst radiant out of bite green throat. The petal edge is massive with at least 3 or 4 colors of burgundy washed cream violet and stunning serrate gold. This is a must have daylily.
