BOOK OF LIFE       Karol Emmerich describes as follows: 

(sdlg x Skin of My Teeth), where the seedling includes things like Chariot of Clouds, Shores of Time, Heartbeat of Heaven, Remembering Joan, Rock of Salvation, and Gnashing of Teeth. 6" (range of 5.5-6.5"), 36" when mature (and some years 40"), 5-way (range of 3-7 way in a given clump), 26 buds (range of 17-42 in a clump), M, Dor, fr, Minnesota instant rebloom on half the fans. Beautiful clear saturated Welch's grape; lavender eye and edge plus silver and ivory wire and has white sharks unless it is cool weather (picture 1); yellow to green throat. It took me 5 years to notice that although it is a good opener it can take until 9AM to open on cold mornings, and there is also a small area without color at the end of each sepal. It is easily fertile both ways and a wonderful parent for hardy flowers with saturated color, chalky eyes, fancy edges, and good scapes.

We always try to include extra seeds as bonus. These seeds are from my own hybridizing efforts. This year we had a very good crop of seeds and I can't possibly plant them all. So I am selling a few of most of my crosses. Any I do not sell will get planted. This addiction just gets better and better.

Seeds are all from true to name daylilies. All seeds are fresh from the 2022 growing season and have been refrigerated in zip-lock bags since harvest. Seeds will have been chilled for a minimum of 2 weeks before shipping. If not planting immediately, please refrigerate seeds upon arrival until planting time. Seeds are inspected before shipping, and we will not send any we would not plant ourselves.

While the majority of seeds germinate within the first couple weeks of being planted, please do realize that some seeds may take 4 - 6 weeks. If you are not completely satisfied with your seeds please contact us immediately for a refund. This includes poor germination. We do not wish to have any unhappy dayliliy fans. We've sold on the Lily Auction for 10+ years with lots of positive feedback. We do not take this for granted. We want you to be happy with your purchases from us.
