PINKASAURUS
Pierce G. 4129-B (Seedling x Seedling ) SEV, EE, RE, 32” high, 8-9” flower, 6-way branching, 35 buds, Fragrant. Bi-Tone *Will not bite. Ever bloomer.
Hello! With a capital O. Yes, this is real, and is by far has the largest ruffled Chartreuse Edging introduced to date, at 1 ½” Deep! And… at 8 ½” PLUS, PINKASAURUS sets pods - with light shade. I still remember my first year to breed with her. My first thought, because of the giant size, will I get any pods? Well, I did and do… PINKASAURUS is another Ever bloomer and literally will not stop blooming. Just look at the picture and this is what you have. EMO, solid, and never hangs. I really hope that when she blooms, you can appreciate how absolutely CLEAN the Bubble Gum Pink is. 100% Diamond Dusted, and as a TRFK kid so you get twice the substance. Being such a clear pink, taking her to your other edged things, can and will clean-up the colors. And… hopefully make seedlings that rock your world, with big gaudy edges. I hope you are smiling. Did I mention the Green throat?
GUY'S SWAN SONG
(Pierce G.) 2032-E (Cutting Loose x Tetra Rose F. Kennedy) - SEV/DOR, EE, 30” tall , 6.5 – 7” flower, 6 way branching, 35-40 buds Multi Rebloom Very Fragrant 100% Diamond Dusted Double Substance EXTRA FERTILE.
For most of my adult life I have been telling people that as a daylily hybridizer I breed for bigger and better and am ultimately looking for a flower that “Genetically jumps the fence”. Well that day has arrived in SWAN SONG. I remember walking the seedling fields one morning and there she was… One white bloom in amongst a long cross of a lavender and a rose/pink flowers. As I got closer I could see how different she looked. No way was this just a white seed that had been mixed up. Here was a super heavy substance white with a 1% pink base, bright sparkles and green everywhere. Over half the throat, and into the ruffled petals as well. That was 4 years ago and I still just stare, and use her heavily. GUY'S SWAN SONG will set almost every flower, and she throws BETTER / BIGGER and TALLER! I have a future big white & green where the scape comes up to my chest. Every year I load her up with pods starting in April, May, then into July. That takes a lot of energy. I Harvest the pods, break her up and line her out in the full fun. We never use Banrot etc. and have not lost a plant. I say to you quite proudly; GUY'S SWAN SONG is priceless, for many, many reasons. Whites covered in green for me have become a whole new Program/Passion. And so as the contradiction goes
