Bill Munson once said “patterns are the future because the possibilities are endless”. However, most of the patterned eye varieties currently available are pastel-colored selfs. We have been working on red daylilies and patterned daylilies for a long time. Our newest introduction combines these passions to present another first in the ever expanding universe of Hemerocallis hybrids. Complex patterns burst from the burgundy red eyezone above a large green-yellow throat on a tomato red flower. Named for the entire family of our friends and avid daylily collectors Jose & Fatima Goldoni of São Paulo, Brazil. Sweet indeed at $250.

I have always and still do appreciate pattern flowers. Early spring I've noticed when it's still cool patterns are broken, but as the season heats they began to run together. THE POTTER'S TOUCH does not do this, it hold a consistent nice broken pattern into mid-summer. I believe patterns will always play a huge part of the market for years to come.
