Pod Parent: Willy Nillyby Stanley Saxton. It is a true sport out of his intro Willy which is a light pink self. Willy Nillyis a yellow beige sort of colour and some of the blooms show red colour breaks on the edge of some petals. its an oldie, registered in 1963 and is probably the first cultivarever to exhibit colour breaks. Pollen Parent: Dr. Strangelove by Pat Cochenour. A very nice near white that consistently exhibits small flecks and streaks of colour. Still a hard cultivarto come by. 10 Seeds. I made a lot of seed of this cross this past summer. These are two of a very short list of dips with colour breaks. Colour breaks seem to be fairly recessive and I've yet to see any kids with breaks in out crosses from either parent. I'm hoping that combining two parents with breaks will increase the odds of getting a few kids with breaks too. I have more seed that I can reasonably plant of this cross and hope by offering it to others that one or more of us will get some kids with colour breaks. Rare genetics! Bonus or extra seeds on all orders if paid within 7 days. Your satisfaction guaranteed. Please check my feedback and other auction listings. I have been selling seeds on the Lily Auction since 2002 and stand behind my product. Thanks for looking! All pictures were taken in my garden unless otherwise identified. Please Note: All seeds are from the 2021 crop, have been air dried a minimum of two days and often longer when I couldn’t keep up, and refrigerated since harvest. I take great care to ensure that all seeds are carefully recorded, each pod on every cross is individually marked. If I do not definitely know the parents then they are recorded as unknowns, no guessing! Seeds can vary widely in size with tets usually being larger than dip seeds, with miniature dips having very small seeds.
