DUKE LANDRY (Gaskins, 2010) height 28", bloom 6", season M, Rebloom, Evergreen, Tetraploid, 22 buds, 3 branches, Dark red with gold edge. ((Restores My Soul × Clothed in Glory) × Duke of Gascone) This lily was introduced for Claudia Conway, who named it for a friend. It has been sold several times on the auction as a seedling and I am including the seedling notes for anyone that may have purchased it, so they can up date their records that it has been introduced. Duke Landry made the top 100 daylilies on mydaylilies.com...and is in their ad in The Daylily Journal.. A-120-08 117a X DUKE OF GASCONE. 6.5" BLOOM . RUFFLES EVERY WHERE. GOOD RED COLOR. GREAT BRANCHING FOUR WAY+. BLOOMS ALL SUMMER. THIS IS A SELECTED SEEDLING FROM LAST YEAR. IT IS POD AND POLLEN FERTILE. This is a very vigorous lily; it grows well, multiplies fast and has huge dark green fans. The bloom is always ruffled and outstanding, but not always as ruffled as in this picture. At least 90% of the time, it looks like the picture in our garden. We know the pollen to be fertile, but it has not been used as a pod parent. A SINGLE FAN TO BE SHIPPED IN THE SPRING |
