How do I sell something? In order to sell an item or service on the Lily Auction, you must be a registered user How much does it cost to list an item? Please refer to the Terms and Conditions of selling an item on the Lily Auction. How does the Lily Auction determine bid increments? The first bid increment is always $.25. After that the increment is determined by the amount of the existing bid. This is calculated by the auction: if the last bid is less than 5, then the increment is .50 How do I add color, bold, Italics, etc. to my listing?
How do I add a picture to my listing? Upload your photo from an existing URL (Internet address). How can I view all of my auctions? To view the auctions for a specific seller, go to the "Search Open Auctions" form at the top of the Lily Auction pages. Select the "Username" radio button. Enter the seller's alias in the Search for field. Then click on the "Search Open Auctions" bar. How do I end my auction before the assigned time? We highly recommend that each auction be allowed to run its course. In the event you need to cancel your auction, please Contact Us. Can I change the minimum bid or reserve price after the auction has started? You can not change the minimum bid or reserve price after the auction has begun. If you need to change either of these, you must end your auction, then re-list it. You can delete your auction through the modify auction feature as long as no bids have been placed. In the event that you need to end your auction after a bid has been placed by another user, please Contact Us. How long does my auction run? You can specify how many days an auction will run, from 1 to 14 days. There is no price difference for any of the terms. How can I find out if an auction has ended? The item will have a red "closed" sign next to it in the category lists for up to 24 hours after auction close. After that you will be able to find the closed auctions through the "View Closed Auctions" link at the bottom of the Lily Auction pages. Simply enter your username and password in the form that comes up when you click on the "View Closed Auctions" link. What happens if my item does not sell? If your item does not sell, you can re-list it once for free at the close of the auction. Please Contact Us to request a refund. If it doesn't sell for a second time, you may want to come up with a catchier title or add a photo if you did not have one. What is auto-extend? Auto-extend is one of those features that makes the Lily Auction so special! As you may already know, auctions really heat up in those last minutes. Auto-extend will automatically extend your auction for an additional five minutes if any bids are placed within the last minutes of the auctions closing. This helps to prevent sniping and results in higher returns for the seller. I lost the buyer's email address. How can I contact him/her again? Again, through the "View Closed Auctions" link at the bottom of the Lily Auction pages. Simply enter your username and password in the form that comes up when you click on the "View Closed Auctions" link. The winning bidder's email address is displayed on the listing in the Winning Bid History summary. Also, in the event that email notifications have not yet been sent out and the auction had not yet been placed in the closed auction files, the Seller may find the winning bidder's email address through the Seller's MY Lily's Page. The winning bidder's email address can be found by clicking on the 'Reserve" number for that particular auction. What happens if I can't contact the buyer? You have several choices. You can opt to sell to the next highest bidder (if applicable) or you can relist your auction. How do I relist an item? Again, through the "View Closed Auctions" link at the bottom of the Lily Auction pages. Simply enter your username and password in the form that comes up when you click on the "View Closed Auctions" link. Select the auction that you want to view. At the bottom of the "Closed Auction" page you will see the "Repost" button. How do I pay the Lily Auction? The lily Auction accepts personal checks or certified checks,
and money orders. Sorry, we do not accept credit cards at this time. Mailing
instructions can be found in your "Sellers Account". What do I do if the high bidder backs out? If the high bidder backs out, you can move on to the second highest bidder if you would like. Another option that you have is to relist the auction. If the high bidder does back out, please Contact Us to let us know and don't forget to use Feedback.
