Single fans: the Daredevil version of a half-price sale!
CONFECTIONATELY YOURS* (2015 intro registered in 2014) M 35" DOR TET 7" I thought I was pretty brilliant when I came up with this name. Then I did an online search and there is, of course, a bakery in New Jersey that has had this name for 30 years. This daylily bears no relation other than it always seemed mighty sweet to me and, despite being shorter than its neighbors in the selected bed, visitors never bypassed it with their camera. A narrowish pink with a purple eye that very often (more often in chilly weather) breaks up to become double etched, scapes have a terminal Y and 1-2 lateral branches with 16-18 buds. Very pod fertile with respectable pollen, it passes eye patterns to many of its kids and produces slim fans. Seedling GASLDF-8 (GARDNER S SMILEY X LEDGEWOOD'S DRAGON FLY).
You are considering one bare root single fan that would be mailed in spring, 2015. Shipping usually begins in May but there have been years where I was able to ship as early as the second week in April.
The garden is state inspected. We have never had daylily rust nor daylily leafminer.
Payment: Unless prior arrangements have been made, payment is expected within 10 days following the close of this auction.
To US addresses: Shipment will be via USPS Priority Mail. Please include $10.00 postage plus $1.00 for each additional plant to be shipped to the same address. New York state residents, please add 8% sales tax.
To Canadian addresses: Shipment will be via UPS or USPS International Priority Mail on May 26, 2015. Please include $50.00 ($25.00 phytosanitary certification fee plus $25.00 postage) and $1.00 per additional plant to be shipped to the same address. For those of you who request UPS shipment, please note that UPS requires a phone number.
Sorry, no shipments to Oregon without a phytosanitary certificate. There is a $6.00 charge per address for the certificate for all plants shipped to OR, and the shipment date would be May 26 to coincide with the Canadian shipment day.
