CHERRY RIPPLES (Stamile, P.) TET 679-A (Space World x King Maker) 36” E Ev Re Fr. 5.5” 3-way branching. 18 buds. CMO (cool morning opener) Cherry Ripples is a strawberry cherry red with a blue purple eye. Often going over 6” on first flower, Cherry Ripples opens flat and easily on the coolest of mornings. I have counted as many as 11 silver ripples in the purple eye. Rippling is present on the sepals as well. Fewer ripples when the weather gets real hot. What makes Cherry Ripples exceptional is the long bloom season. It is one of the first to bloom and continues to repeat bloom and is one of the last to bloom. Cherry Ripples is a wonderful parent for red patterned daylilies and a fabulous daylily in its own right. Fertile both ways. I live in the "rust belt", I have a spray plan in place, if this is a problem please don't bid. Payment is due within 1 week of Auction Closing. Please always mention your auction user name (handle) when contacting us or paying for your auction wins. Please, no third party shipments.
