ETIENNE (Davisson J), 2020, DF The hybridizer's photo and description follow: ETIENNE is a 9 1/2" purple unusual form (crispate) with a lavender watermark and a diamond dusted chartreuse throat that starts blooming in the mid-late season with rebloom scapes that continue well into the late season. Bud-building scapes are tall and sturdy at 38" with 4-way branching averaging 22 buds perscape. For Clemson football fans, ETIENNE is the perfect daylily to plant near last year's TREVOR (Go Tigers!) ETIENNE is a tetraploid from BOYS NIGHT OUT X WEBSTER GIRLS and has hardy, dormant plant habit. It is easily fertile both as a pod and pollen parent. All plants are grown in my 7B zone Delaware garden within a couple miles of the Lewes and Rehoboth beaches. My soil is a nice blend of sand, clay and organic matter. I try to offer at least DF or TF however I do specify in the description the size fan to expect. Please pay within 5 days of auction close. I accept checks and PayPal. Please note your bidder alias with payment. Spring shipping is generally late April to early May. Shipping is through USPS Priority Mail - $15 for first plant plus $2 for each additional plant. There is a $5 surcharge to ship to west of the Rockies. Standard LA return policy applies - if not full satisfied with your purchase you may request replacement or return your purchase within 48 hours for a full refund. A DF of Etienne will be shipped!
