In most cases, you will find the HYBRIDIZERS NOTES below.--WE DO NOT SELL undersized PLANTS! This plant has been lined out and the winning bidder will receive any increase. We describe the plants as they are now, not as we hope they will be at shipping time.

We mix our own soil, including alfalfa, bone meal, blood meal and WORM CASTINGS. We feed primarily with Miracle Grow with minors and SEAWEED CONCENTRATE. We do not force our plants. We use good old California sunshine, water and nutrients. We rely heavily on organic products for insect and disease control---we have LADYBUGS, GREEN LACEWINGS AND PRAYING MANTIS on patrol for us.

Grand Masterpiece) When we bloomed this purple gem and its illustrious sib, LILAC GLOW, we were so excited, we made over 200 more seeds from the same cross. Of all these, IMPERIAL DECREE stills reigns supreme. Ever since we made our first cross, we have dreamed of blooming a round, beautifully ruffled, sunfast true purple, crystal-clear in color, and devoid of all muddy pigment. This "dream" purple would have vigor, as well as elegant scapes, and branching that would win a blue ribbon at any show. IMPERIAL DECREE with its 51/2" stunning royal-purple blooms comes closer to our vision than anything so far. We have measured 31/2" petals on blooms just 51/2" in diameter. Cleaner in color and more sunfast than any other deep purple we grow. Flat-open, ruffled blooms, borne on beautifully branched show scapes herald a new plateau in refined purple tetraploids. Scapes are arrow-straight and bud-count can soar over 25. Fragrant. Fertile both ways and an incredible parent.

Payment is due in 10 days. We dig, dip, clip and ship on the same day and most plants are carefully prepared for shipping within 15 minutes of the time they come out of the soil. Shipping is $12 for the first plant and additional wins will be $3 for each single or double fan and $5 for those with 3 or more fans shipped in the same box (we will do our best to combine as many as we can).
